Can I get an aged care job with no experience?
Often yes, particularly if you hold or are studying a Certificate III in Individual Support. Providers hire heavily on attitude, so lead with patience, reliability and respect for older people. Placement hours count as real experience — name the facility type and what you did. Any caring you have done for family or in the community is also worth including.
What checks do I need to work in aged care in Australia?
