What should a teacher aide cover letter include?
The role and school, your qualification, one or two examples of supporting students, your Working With Children Check, and why you want to work at that school.
Do I need to address selection criteria?
Many public schools ask for a response to selection criteria as well as a cover letter. Check the job ad and follow its instructions exactly.
Can I mention volunteering at my child's school?
Yes. Describe what you did and the skills you used. You do not need to share personal family details.
