The Head Chef
XXXX Restaurant
Brisbane, QLD
Dear Head Chef,
I am writing to apply for the kitchen hand position at XXXX Restaurant. I enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, and I would like to help your team keep service running smoothly.
I currently work as a kitchen hand in a busy restaurant, where I wash dishes during dinner service, prepare vegetables and garnishes for the chefs, and clean benches, floors and equipment at close. Before that I worked as a dishwasher in a café during weekend brunch rushes. I work quickly, follow instructions carefully and take kitchen safety seriously.
I am available for nights, weekends and public holidays, and I would be happy to come in for a trial shift. My resume is attached. Thank you for considering my application.
Kind regards,
Daniel Okafor
